If you have just purchase your game and if your activation key is already in use please contact your retailer.
Ubisoft activation key already in use. Please include your games cd key activation code when submitting a ticket it will help our support team to provide you a better and faster assistance. If your key has already been used support is not able to free up the key or move it to another account. Once they are used they are bound to the ubisoft account that was logged in at the time of initial activation.
Click on the activation icon toward the top right of the uplay window. If youre trying to launch the game using an account different to the one used originally youll be presented with the key already in use message. When i try to launch my game from the uplay pc client i am asked to enter my activation key againwhen i enter my cd key it saysthis cd key or activation code is already in use with another ubisoft account.
In this instance please try and old accounts you may have other wise please get in touch with us directly and we can help locate the account the game is on. There is always the possibility that you may have more than one ubisoft account so please be sure to check any other ubisoft accounts you may have. For more information please contact ubi.
If you are receiving this error chances are you already have more than one ubisoft account. If you are new to uplay please download the client and create an account. If you need help checking which account your key is registered to please contact us we will be happy to investigate further.
This will activate the game on your ubisoft account. You do not need to create a new ubisoft account. Enter your key in the activation code field.
